We don’t know about you but post workout hunger is very real for us. Yes, when your body exhausts itself like that, it is bound to get hungry. It needs to make up for all the energy that you just used. So, what do you eat post workout? Of course you don’t want to waste all that time in the gym by eating the wrong thing. Leafy Greens

The darker the leafy greens, the better. They are rich in dietary fiber, vitamins C, A, E, and K, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and other phytonutrients. These not only help you lose weight but are also great for boosting immunity!

Fruits and Vegetables

Vegetables and fruits are a great way to boost your energy levels. If you feel like you’re drained from your workout, eat fruits like banana, pear, apples, plums etc. These also help flush out all the toxins from your body.

It’s recommended to eat at least 4-5 types of vegetables and fruits in a day to stay healthy so get on it.

Eating eggs can be really good for you because these are full of water soluble and fat-soluble vitamins, minerals, and most importantly, essential amino acids and proteins. They are an excellent source of proteins in abundance but stick to 4-5 eggs per week rule and you will be healthy and your energy levels post workout will stay high.

This is a miracle fruit that’s high in calories but loaded with healthy fats, dietary fiber, and vitamins A, C, E, K, and B6. It is good in aiding weight loss and also helps minimize the risk of cardiovascular diseases so toss some up in a salad or make guacamole but you need this wonder fruit in your diet asap!
