6 Natural Remedies for Bacne

Back acne, commonly known as bacne is an extremely unpleasant experience. Especially in summer where the heat and sweat can make it worse. Of course the easiest way to treat it is through medications and cleansers but we do have some natural remedies that could help you get rid of your bacne.

Bacne occurs when the hair follicles in your skin get clogged. As a result, an excess of oil is produced which leads to bacterial build up and leads to inflammation of oil producing glands. These combined then form pimples. These natural remedies will help you keep your pores clean and clog free.

Studies suggest that tea tree oil helps to kill the skin-dwelling bacteria involved in acne. Some body washes use tea tree oil as a key ingredient, which could help alleviate back acne. Just add some drops of tea tree oil to your bath water and you should be good.

Exfoliating removes dead cells from your skin, which can keep pores from getting clogged. With the help of a dry brush, you can slough off dead skin cells. Mixing equal parts brown sugar and raw honey make a nice DIY body scrub.

It’s important to note that this is a preventative strategy; it’s best not to scrub skin when trying to reduce active acne, as this may cause additional inflammation and irritation.

Since body creams and massage oils containing mineral oil, synthetic lanolin, and cocoa butter may aggravate acne, try hydrating with plant-derived products that are oil-free (like aloe vera gel) or are less likely to clog pores. argan oil, neem oil, shea butter, or sea buckthorn oil while being excellent for skin can clog your pores.

Eat Anti-Inflammatory Foods

Because inflammation and acne are closely linked, focusing your diet on anti-inflammatory foods such as berries, certain kinds of nuts, whole grains, and beans may help reduce future outbreaks of back acne. Your diet plays an important role in your overall health and especially for your skin health. Don’t take it lightly and stock up on foods that will help.
