DIY Fruit Masks for Glowing Skin

We all love fruits but while eating them has it’s own advantages, putting them on your face has some more. Yes, fruit masks are an excellent way to take the goodness of fruits and let it do wonders for your skin without you having to bite or chew.

Here are a few fruit masks that will help you get the glowing skin that you’ve always wanted.

Papaya

Not a lot of people are fond of ingesting this fruit. Good news is, you can turn it into a face mask and benefit from it.

Blend a couple of pieced of papaya with a teaspoon of honey until a smooth paste is formed. Apply it on your face and let it stay there for 15-20 minutes before you wash your face with cold water.

Do it once a week and you will see a noticeable glow in your skin.

Banana

We know bananas are great for making milkshakes and smoothies, not to mention banana bread but they also make great fruit masks.

Mash a banana with a teaspoon of honey and half a teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply it on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes before washing off.

Bananas contain vitamin A which is really good for skin health and antioxidants that get rid of free radicals responsible for skin damage. This is a great face mask for people with acne prone skin.

Tomato

Yes, tomatoes are a fruit and yes, you can use them to make face masks which are great for your skin.

Blend a tomato to a smooth pulp and add to it a tablespoon of oatmeal and a teaspoon of yogurt. Apply this to your face and neck and leave it on for 10 minutes or until dry before you wash it off.

Tomatoes help slow down the process of skin aging and protect it from UV rays. This face mask is also great for getting rid of face tan.
