For some of us, it is just not possible to have that flawless skin. Most people these days end up with discoloured skin. A lot of things can cause this discolouration. Malnutrition is one, exposure to sun is another. The good thing is, this is just a skin condition and can be treated with some natural remedies.

So firstly, let s get on to have a small clear understanding of what are these dark skin patches? These are the result of the hyper pigmentation of the skin. Now, let us study the different remedies for solving this problem of discoloured skin.

Use Raw Potatoes

  • One raw potato
  • A few drops of water

Preparation and Treatment Time:

It will take almost two to three minutes to prepare and ten minutes for the treatment.

How to do it:

  1. You simply need to take a potato, wash it properly.
  2. Now apply few drops of water on the outside of the raw potato.
  3. Rub the potato on the affected dark skin patches in circular motions.
  4. After that wait for almost ten minutes and then wash your skin with lukewarm water. 

Use of Lemons or Lime

  • Two tea spoons of honey
  • One lemon

Preparation and Treatment Time:

It takes almost two minutes to prepared. You will need fifteen minutes to apply an treat yourself to it.

How to do it:

  • Take the fresh lemon and cut it. Squeeze out the juice into a clean bowl.
  • Add honey in the given quantities into the same bowl which contains the lemon juice.
  • Apply this complete mixture onto the dark skin patches.
  • Let is settle for almost fifteen minutes.
  • Now wash it off with lukewarm water.
