Basil Toner
Shred some basil leaves and put them in hot boiling water. After a couple minutes, strain the water and let it cool. Refrigerate and use the resulting liquid as a toner. This toner is excellent for people who have sensitive skin. You can also be use it for combination skin.
Papaya Toner
Take raw papaya and turn it into a paste, when you have about 1 cup of paste, mix it with 1 cup of ice cold mineral water. Store the resulting mix in a bottle in the fridge and it is good to use for about 5 days. Use it if your skin is dry and prone to rashes. It can also be used on skin that has been sunburnt.
Cucumber Toner
Cucumber is great for cooling skin down. Just grate and juice a cucumber and freeze it. Use it within maximum 2 days. You can use the resulting mix as a toner to cool down after a hot, humid day outside.
Green Tea Toner
Put 1-2 bags of green tea in 2 cups of hot water. Take the tea bags out after about 30 minutes. Let the mixture cool and store in a fridge. This can be used for a long time. This toner gives your skin the glow you need.
Mint Leaf Toner
Bring about 1 and a half cup of water to boil. Put in it 1 cup of shredded mint leaves and close the lid on the pot. Turn off the flame, and wait for this to cool down. After about 40-50 minutes, strain this and store it in a clean bottle inside the fridge. Use as needed. This toner is excellent for treating sunburns.
