We just assume that if our skin is not oily, we just don’t have to worry about it. Contrary to popular belief, the most difficult skin type to deal with is dry skin type. If you have met people with dry skin, you will know how they struggle. Keeping a skin like that health, glowing and normal is really hard even in summers.
Here are a few face masks for people with dry skin to try this summer!
Yogurt Face Mask
Mix 2 tablespoons of yogurt with a tablespoon of honey and apply it to your face, evenly. Wait for it to completely dry out and then wash your face with lukewarm water. Use this mask at least twice a weak to see results. The yogurt and honey will revitalise your skin and help treat it’s dryness.
Sandalwood Face Mask
Sandalwood has been known for centuries for its beauty properties. It is an effective natural ingredient that helps with skin problems and is used in beauty products all over the world.
Mix 3 teaspoons of sandalwood powder with a small amount of rose water to form a thick paste. Apply this to your face and let it stay for 15-20 minutes before washing off. The sandalwood cools your skin while rose water tones and hydrates it. It is an amazing mask to be used in summers. Just apply it to your face at least once a week.
Cucumber and Oats Face Mask
Mix a teaspoon of cucumber juice with 3 teaspoons of oats and a teaspoon of yogurt. Apply this mixture to your face and when it dries out completely, wash your face with cold water.
This mask is great for haling and refreshing your skin. The oatmeal soothes and heals the skin while the yogurt and cucumber tone it and cool it down.
Use this at least twice a week.
Rose Water and Almond Face Mask
Soak almonds over night and turn them into a smooth paste in the morning. Mix these with a small amount of rose water and apply the mask to your face. After 15 minutes, wash your face with cold water. The vitamin E in almonds prevents your skin from drying.
